Hi, everybody! If you don´t know me yet, I´m Cyci Cade. I write novels, novellas, short stories, articles, everything. I have many passions in my life and I work hard to make my dreams come true. I don´t give up so easily.
I am the author of Dragon´s Quest, The Dark Side, and other books that are coming soon. Well, all that information you can find on my blog; therefore, let´s talk about what you will not read anywhere else but here.
To know me a little more, here are ten curious facts about me and my books:
1- I have not published the first book I wrote yet
I wrote my first book in 2008. I was very mad at my boss—I hated that place and people; thank God, I don´t work there anymore—and writing was the way I found to manage that stressful situation. I used the initial letters of the names of the people who I hated to create the names of the disgusting creatures of the story. For sure, I couldn´t publish that. I edited the book and finished the story—a science fiction trilogy that I intend to publish soon.
2- One of my dreams is to live in Switzerland
Switzerland is beautiful and one of the wealthiest country. The weather and good quality of life attract me.
3- I´m addicted to chocolate
Maybe it is one of the reasons why I want to live in Switzerland; after all, the Swiss chocolate is one of the best chocolates in the world. I have a balanced and healthy lifestyle, but when I go to the shopping mall where there´s my favorite chocolate brand´s shop, I can´t resist.
4- I had panic disorder
Yeah! It happened! Unfortunately! However, nothing happens in our lives for nothing. I still worked in that place that I hated when I got sick. It was a difficult year but made me find the courage I needed to make hard decisions, change my life, and move on.
5- My best friend actually wasn´t my best friend
After more than ten years of friendship, I realized that she wasn´t a loyal friend; on the contrary, she was a mean and envious person who used to flirt with her friends´ boyfriends. It was disgusting. With the years I noticed that I couldn´t trust her and we lost contact. Nowadays, we are not friends anymore. I deleted her from my social media—if I don´t want a person in my real life, I don´t want her/his on my virtual life either.
6- I´ve written fourteen books
Yeah! I have fourteen books and I intend to publish all of them in the following years. For this, I´ll need your help to divulge, read, and review them. The support of the readers is very important; without it, we authors can´t do anything. All we do during the days, weeks, months, and years, is thinking of you reader; therefore, I ask your support to help me spread my work in the world.
7- Passion is my fuel
I´m a passionate person. I can´t do anything if I´m not in love with what I´m doing. When the passion is gone, I don´t see a reason to keep doing that thing. Because of that, I work hard on my books and everything else.
8- I feel sad when I finish writing a book
The end of a book is like the end of a relationship. It hurts me. I feel empty. I miss my characters and all the environments I created to tell a story that I hope may touch the heart of the readers and make them happy.
9- School was the worst experience of my life
I loved to learn new things, but school wasn´t for me. That´s why I never majored. I prefer to take online classes. I had to endure endless boring classes and live with awful people. In high school, I had chickenpox and rubella. Nowadays, I miss a few friends, but not the school.
10- I love swords and bows
I wish I could have space to set a sort of little museum in my apartment. I have three swords, but I´d like to own all models that exist in the world. I know how to handle them. I practice Kendo and Kenjutsu—Japanese martial arts with swords. I love bows and arrows too; unfortunately, I haven´t had the opportunity to learn how to handle them yet.
Well, this is me—or a small part of who I am. I hope you have enjoyed this post. If you want to know me even more, you can be my friend on my social media. I love to make new friends. Here are the links:
