Review: Snow like Ashes by Sara Raasch

A conquered kingdom has his future in the hands of a sixteen-year-old orphan girl, Meira. She wants to help her kingdom, Winter. She wants to prove that she is a good warrior. She wants to fight her enemies.

And she has the opportunity to fight them, more than that, she has the opportunity to be face-to-face with the man who enslaved and killed so many of her people.

When Meira arrives in Spring, she has a big surprise. Something new happens and she realizes that is isn´t alone.

I liked the book. Sara Raasch was very creative choosing the names of the kingdoms. I think she could have told more about them.

Meira is a strong character; she has a purpose and she hasn´t discovered what it is yet. She is strong and like any teenager, she makes mistakes.

What about you? Have you read Snow like Ashes yet? Did you like the book?
